"Maverik is committed to providing our business partners a best-in-class collaboration solution," said Aaron Simpson, vice president at Maverik. "Key to achieving this goal is making sure everyone is working from one version of the truth. When partners, category managers and operations are on the same page, we can plan and execute better strategies. This fact-based transparency will enable better decision-making when it comes to building categories and thrilling our customers."

Maverik has selected ToolBox's 1screen platform, specifically designed for retailers, to improve business performance, category-management process and collaboration with partners. This solution will enable Maverik and its partners to drive business performance by leveraging transactional point-of-sale (POS), inventory, planogram and Adventure Club loyalty data. By combining role-based, interactive dashboards, on-demand insight through integrated reporting and embedded business process to support category and marketing reviews, Maverik can continue to deliver the Maverik experience to a rapidly increasing customer base.

"It is essential that we provide our partners the complete Maverik experience by ensuring they are an intrinsic part of what makes us unique," Simpson said. "By truly working collaboratively, we can have a productive dialogue to help pinpoint our most compelling opportunities on items, pricing, promotions and understanding our customers."

Shaun Bossons, executive vice president of new business at ToolBox Solutions, said, "Maverik is raising the bar in relation to partner collaboration in the gas and convenience channel by sharing key performance information, as well as consumer insight, with business partners. I have no doubt that the combination of Maverik's exceptional position in the channel and ToolBox's market-leading 1screen solution will enable a best-in-class program that will drive benefit to Maverik, its partners and, most importantly, its customers."

Toronto-based ToolBox provides retail-insight solutions configured for retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers that enable rapid, phased-based benefit at all levels of the enterprise: executive, category, field and store.
