New Executive Leadership Team Takes Helm at Royal Buying Group

Angelilli, Porter split former president, CEO's position; expanded roles for Joritz, Scullion

LISLE, Ill. -- Royal Buying Group Inc. (RBG) has announced that Angela Angelilli and Sharon Porter are now the company's new executive leadership team. Angelilli, executive vice president of sales, and Sharon Porter, executive vice president of business development, will fill the role of former president and CEO Michael Zielinski.

In their expanded roles, they will embark on leading increased strategic business partnerships by adding value through revenue-generating opportunities for convenience retailing suppliers, distributors and retailers.

Supporting this initiative with expanded roles are Donna Joritz, director of operations, and Joan Scullion, director of finance. RBG provides corporate office representation, serving the convenience store industry's more than 93,000 independently operation locations.

This new executive leadership team will continue to develop industry relationships, grow the portfolio of services provided, advance manufacturer/distributor/retailer execution and provide support, the company said.

Based in Lisle, Ill., RBG is a national organization dedicated to maximizing sales and profitability of c-stores, petroleum locations, college book stores, truckstops/travel plaza, auto repair facilities, drug stores, tobacco outlets and liquor stores. Its core service capabilities include negotiating with regional and national suppliers for sales and marketing programs and providing category management, marketing support and customer service support. It now represents more than 6,000 locations nationwide.
