NACS Releases Technology Report

Examines tech challenges, perceptions, usage, expenditure metrics
ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The National Association of Convenience Stores has released its NACS State of the Industry Technology Report of 2008 Industry Data, anin-depth examination of industry technology and related issues.

More than 130 companies representing 20,000-plus stores participated in seventh annual technology survey, which was conducted at the end of 2008. The 21-page report examines industry challenges and perceptions regarding technology, as well as usage and expenditure metrics for a variety of key technology-enabled issues, including PCI compliance, pricebook, scan [image-nocss] data, lottery and inventory management.
