KSS Fuels Completes Acquisition of MPSI

Combined organization is global leader in fuels pricing and network planning

MANCHESTER, U.K. & TULSA, Okla. --KSS Fuels said that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Market Planning Solutions Inc. (MPSI) following approval by MPSI's shareholders. KSS Fuels is a global leading provider of fuel pricing software, network planning services, data collection and related consulting and analytics services.

"With the integrated, global resources of our merged organization, we are now in a position to deliver even greater value to customers in the oil and gas and petroleum retail industries, as well as the rapidly developing needs [image-nocss] of customers in emerging fuels markets," said Bob Stein, president and CEO of KSS Fuels. Based in Tulsa, Okla., MPSI is a leading provider of fuels pricing, site evaluation and network planning solutions. Since 1970, its products and services have helped customers with fuels price management, price optimization, volume projections, retail asset management and retail outlet data. MPSI is also a principal provider of traffic data, demographics and online mapping.

KSS Fuels will continue to operate under both the KSS Fuels and MPSI brands and will maintain and service existing products. Its headquarters will be in Manchester, U.K., with US operations in Florham Park, N.J., and Tulsa, Okla., and international locations serving customer needs in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
