CMSI Rebrands as Strasburger

Retail management group offers services for small-format site operations

TEMPLE, Texas -- Convenience Management Services Inc. (CMSI) is changing its name to Strasburger.

The company has offered solutions for retail site contract operations, staffing services, accounting services and retail consulting since 1983. In 2012, CEO and former retailer Roy Strasburger bought the company from his family to focus on small-format retail management services in the United States.

“At Strasburger, our passion is applying our 60-plus years of knowledge to successfully operate convenience stores, QSR, car washes, quick lubes and other small-format coffee and food-to-go shops for companies large and small,” said Strasburger.

Strasburger’s Dealer Pro service provides a transparent professional dealer retail operations program. The Rapid Retail program is available for landowners and property managers who have vacant space in their strip center, malls and power centers. Another Strasburger program, the Kiosk Korner, provides a professional retail offer for office buildings, apartment complexes or college dorms.

Other tools and services from Strasburger include staffing services, accounting services for one or 300 sites, retailer consulting services and business valuations. The company can also appoint, work with or work as a receiver for its retailer partners.

The Strasburgers have been in the convenience- and fuel-retail industries since 1967 when Tommy Strasburger—Roy Strasburger’s father—opened Zippy Food Stores in Temple, Texas, where Strasburger has its headquarters today. Over the next two decades, Tommy Strasburger expanded the company to locations in Chile, Australia, Mexico and 27 other countries.

The Strasburger family company has offered global oil brands, assets managers, real-estate lenders and private investors retail management solutions for 35 years.
