Seeks top visionaries to grow company east of the Rockies

WARRENVILLE, Ill. -- Who is BP hoping to hear from as it launches a franchise offer for its BP Connect and Wild Bean Caf a? Business people with a passion for quality and service who are top visionaries committed to building a customer-focused and performance-driven business, states the companies new franchising website, launched last week at www.bpfranchising.com.

Thesitesinclude a pre-screening tool and comprehensive sales information, the release said. We encourage you to visit the sites and navigate through the content. They are now fully functional and accessible to the public.

The launch comes one month after BP announced plans to begin offering franchising of its BP Connect and Wild Bean Caf a convenience store brands in U.S. retail markets east of the Rocky Mountains, beginning with the Florida market.

Our goal is to build and recruit a franchise network east of the Rockies that complements our already distinctive BP brand, Ben Amante, BP's vice president of U.S. franchising, said in mid-January. We also see an opportunity to reflect the diverse communities where we operate by finding minority business people looking to franchise in the community. We look forward to building a strong network of franchisees who will help us grow our business, delivering our products and services to more consumers.

The Wild Bean Caf a offers gourmet coffee and fountain beverages, distinctive breads and pastries baked in the cafe, specialty soups, custom-made sandwiches and fresh salads. BP Connect store sites, like all BP retail sites, offer Amoco-branded fuels.
