"This is the least we can do for them and show them our appreciation," [image-nocss] said Sam Simon, CEO and owner of Taylor, Mich.-based Atlas Oil. "I am proud to have team members who are excited to spend their own time giving back to the men and women in uniform who fight for our everyday freedom. This is just a small way to show them our appreciation."
The party included entertainment provided by The Simone Vitale Band and Detroit Country Day Students. Children of the Marines were treated to many different activities such as a bounce house donated by Inflatable Playspaces, crafts, cookie decorating and a special visit from Santa Claus. Lucky Marines who participated in a raffle walked away with flat screen TVs, sporting event tickets and many other prizes.
When asked what his favorite part of the event was, Simon said, "I love being able to see the smiling faces of the Marines enjoying quality time with their loved ones. Atlas Oil is proud to honor these great heroes."
