Are Your Bathrooms Worthy of a Selfie?

Cintas launches 15th annual America’s Best Restroom Contest

CINCINNATI -- Are your toilets the talk of the town? If so, Cintas Corp. wants to hear about it.

Cintas Best Restroom Contest

Now through Sept. 16, the Cincinnati-based company is accepting nominations for its 15th annual America’s Best Restroom Contest.

“When a public restroom makes you stop to take a video or capture a quick selfie to share with friends, it deserves to be nominated for the chance to be called America’s Best Restroom,” said John Engel, senior marketing manager for Cintas. “This contest not only creates national visibility of your business, it shows your customers that you take pride in your restrooms and truly care about their experience.”

Nominations can be submitted at www.bestrestroom.com/us. Restrooms will be judged on cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements. Ten finalists will be announced in the fall, and the winner will receive the royal restroom treatment from Cintas with $2,500 in facility services to help maintain their award-winning restroom.

Past winners include the Town of Minturn Public Restrooms in Minturn, Colo., which resemble a horizontal passageway into a Rocky Mountain mine, in 2015; the Longwood Gardens in Philadelphia for its “green wall” and eco-friendly design in 2014; and the Field Museum in Chicago for its artwork of a night sky and a “tot area” with smaller toilets for little ones in 2011.
