ADD Systems Veteran to Retire

Chamberlin devoted nearly 50 years to energy distribution

FLANDERS, N.J. -- Longtime employee and industry veteran Frank Chamberlin has retired from Advanced Digital Data Inc. (ADD Systems), a supplier of software solutions to the energy distribution industry.

ADD Systems announced Chamberlin’s retirement on Sept. 15. Chamberlin had been with ADD Systems for more than 20 years, serving in a number of roles.

After about 20 years spent in sales for various fuel and software companies, Chamberlin took some time doing land development before eventually joining ADD Systems in the early 1990s. Frank worked as a regional sales representative for the company’s New England territory before becoming the sales trainer. ADD Systems credits Chamberlin with shaping the sales styles of a generation of sales employees in territories across the United States.

After nearly 50 years in the energy distribution industry, Frank plans to spend his retirement traveling the United States, continuing his hobby of cooking and volunteering in his community.

Bruce C. Bott, president of ADD Systems, who worked with Chamberlin early on in his own sales career, said that Chamberlin’s contribution to the company’s success was significant. “I learned some great lessons from Frank over the years. His dedication and loyalty to the company and his customers were valuable foundations for me,” said Bott. “I am really happy for him and know he will enjoy his retirement. Frank’s got a lot of fishing to catch up on, and I know spending time with family is also high on his list.”

Since 1973, ADD Systems has been a provider of software for the petroleum, propane, wholesale, gasoline and convenience-store industries.
