ORRVILLE, Ohio — Two peanut-based snacks from Smucker Away From Home have been introduced to the convenience-store segment.
Individually packaged Jif Power Ups will now be available in c-stores in two varieties: Chewy Granola Bars and Stacked Granola Bars.
Power Ups have peanuts as their first ingredient. The Chewy Granola Bars come in Creamy Peanut Butter and Chocolate varieties, and the three-layered Stacked Granola Bars come in Super S’Mores and Epic Chocolate. All are kosher dairy and made without corn syrup.
The Chewy Granola Bar flavors have 6 grams of protein and 2 grams of fiber per serving, and the stacked bars have 5 grams of protein per serving.
The 1.3-ounce bars are available to c-store operators in 15-count boxes and can be merchandised for individual sale. More than 2.5 million households have already purchased Jif Power Ups in other channels, according to the company.
