ALTOONA, Pa. -- Convenience retailer Sheetz Inc. is now offering cookies made by The No-Bake Cookie Co.
“We are thrilled to be bringing our cookies to the Sheetz customers,” said founder Carol Healy.
No-Bake Cookie has continued to see rapid growth nationally. It is in approximately 2,500 retailers nationwide.
In addition to the Sheetz expansion, earlier this month, the No-Bake Cookie brand rolled out in Costco locations in the Northwest, offering an exclusive 24-ounce package.
Additional stores carrying the brand include Nordstrom Espresso Bars, Sprouts, Kroger Chains, New Seasons, Whole Foods, Lucky’s Markets, Fresh Thyme, Albertson and Safeway.
The concept combines the “nostalgia of grandma’s kitchen” with on-the-go convenience and “clean-label” natural ingredients, the company said.
“We have raised the bar on clean-eating treats, providing the only handcrafted-style no-bake cookies with pure ingredients on the market,” Healy said.
Healy’s love for creating no-bakes right from her kitchen inspired the company’s wholesome delicious recipes. After years of selling her cookies out of her family-owned convenience store, she launched her company in 2011.
“I wanted to bring our nostalgic line of no-bake cookies to the growing market of consumers that care about what is in their food,” she said.
Altoona, Pa.-based Sheetz, operates 525 convenience stores across six states: Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia.
