Oreo and Milka's Latest Release Hits Store Shelves

DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Mondelez's high-profile candy offering from last year just got its first line extension.

In 2016, the snack and candy maker released Milka Oreo Chocolate Candy Bars that combine Oreo cookies and Milka European chocolate candy, the top-selling chocolate candy in Europe. At the time, varieties included the Milka Oreo Big Crunch Chocolate Candy Bar in a 10.5-ounce share size, Milka Oreo Chocolate Candy Bars in 1.44-ounce, 2.88-ounce and 3.52-ounce sizes, and Milka Oreo Choco-Mix in a 6.1-ounce bag.

For the first time since the Milka Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar debut, Mondelez has come out with a new flavor. Mint Milka Oreo Chocolate Candy Bars are available nationwide. In his review, the writer behind junkbanter said of the latest release: "It's a mellow mint that doesn't overpower, which is great because it highlights their high-quality milk chocolate too. Creamy chocolate and smooth mint blend seamlessly, right down the middle for balance."

A company spokesperson told online pop culture and travel website Thrillist that the bar is "best served ice cold." The bars are available in standard 1.44-ounces and king 2.88-ounce sizes.
