MINNEAPOLIS — General Mills Convenience unveiled two new product line extensions coming to convenience-store shelves.

The company added new protein bars featuring popular cereal flavors Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Golden Grahams, and Dunkaroos, the cookie and icing combo from the 1990s, now available in chocolate.

The new Dunkaroos flavor has been a top request by consumers since the comeback of Dunkaroos with vanilla frosting in 2020, said the company. Both varieties of the dunkable cookies come with frosting and are individually packaged in a single-serve tray for on-the-go eating. The suggested retail price for the 1.5-ounce snack is $1.99.

Meanwhile, the individually wrapped cereal bars are high in protein (20 grams) and low in sugar (2 grams). Both cereal brands over index with Gen X and millennials, according to the company, providing a craveable offering for the performance-bar set. Suggested retail price is $2.99.

Minneapolis-based General Mills Convenience & Foodservice serves the convenience, foodservice and bakery industries by providing products from trusted brands. Its brand portfolio includes Big G Cereals, Yoplait, Nature Valley, Gold Medal, Pillsbury, Chex Mix, Bugles, Gardetto’s and Annie’s.
