MINONG, Wis. -- Jack Link’s Protein Snacks has announced the hiring of Tom “TD” Dixon as the company’s first chief marketing officer. The family-run company is a leader in the meat snack category.
As the global CMO, TD will oversee strategic planning for all marketing and innovation functions across the Jack Link’s family of brands.
The chief marketing officer position is a new addition to Jack Link’s and an indicator of the company’s continued growth and dedication to expand the protein snacks category, Troy Link, president and CEO of Jack Link’s, said.
“We’ve been passionate about making the best-tasting meat snacks for 30 years,” he said. “TD has the right type of experience, leadership and attitude to help us fuel our legacy of innovation and global mission to offer high-quality protein snacks for every kind of consumer.”
TD comes to Jack Link’s with more than 19 years of global marketing experience. Most recently, TD served as CMO at Welch’s and previously held roles at Kimberly Clark and the Schwan Food Co.
Based in Minong, Wis., the family-owned company currently operates 11 manufacturing and distribution facilities in four countries and has sales in more than 40 countries. Jack Link’s Protein Snacks portfolio of brands include Jack Link’s, Lorissa’s Kitchen, Matador, Squatch Snack Sticks, World Kitchens Jerky, Grass Run Farms Meat Snacks, Bifi and Pepperami.
