GPM Takes Ownership of 5 C-Stores in Arkansas

Second foray into state after E-Z Mart acquisition

RICHMOND, Va. — GPM Investments LLC has taken ownership of five convenience stores with gasoline in Arkansas from Cash and Sons L-P Gas Co. Inc., Monticello, Ark.

This acquisition marks GPM’s second foray into the state of Arkansas after the E-Z Mart acquisition in late 2017. GPM said it plans to continue to expand in the region as part of its growth strategy.

GPM does not plan to rebrand the stores, a company spokesperson told CSP Daily News.

"We are very excited about the Cash and Sons stores,” said Arie Kotler, CEO of GPM. “We plan to provide these customers with the same great quality service and products as they are used to. We welcome the Cash and Sons associates to the GPM family.”

Richmond, Va.-based GPM operates or supplies fuel to more than 1,400 stores in 22 states. Its brands include Fas Mart, Shore Stop, Scotchman, BreadBox, Young's, Li'l CricketNext Door Store, Village PantryApple MarketJiffi StopAdmiralRoadrunner MarketsJiffy Food MartsE-Z Mart1 Stop and TownStar.

The company also recently signed an agreement with Riiser Fuels LLC, Wausau, Wis., to acquire 63 c-stores in Wisconsin.

GPM’s stores offer a large selection of beverages, coffee, fountain drinks, candy, salty snacks and many other products to meet the needs of the everyday customer. Stores offer a wide array of proprietary food offerings ranging from fresh chicken, fresh-made salads and sandwiches to healthy, grab-and-go meals.
