The Chicago-based company acts as an integrated sales solution provider to manufacturers in the consumable, supply, service and equipment categories.

“We are fully—and only—committed to the convenience channel, which makes us different from your typical broker,” said Shaun O’Brien, president of Access Strategies. “In a channel where nearly 75,000 new items are launched each year, I believe our focus provides clients with an unparalleled depth of knowledge, attention to detail and access to market drivers that are necessary to break through the clutter and deliver results.”

O’Brien is a longtime food broker, having worked at his namesake company, Carlin O’Brien, for nearly 15 years prior to starting Access Strategies. He sits on the NACS Supplier Membership Committee, chairs a subcommittee on supplier education and also participates on a number of manufacturer advisory boards.

Access Strategies is based in Burr Ridge, Ill.
