Petrowski Joins VNG Advisory Board

Oil industry vet, Gulf Oil chairman adds acumen to retail CNG fueling provider

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. -- Joseph Petrowski has joined VNG.co LLC's board of advisors, the company has announced.

VNG is a leading retail compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling service provider.

Petrowski is currently chairman of Gulf Oil LP, a leading distributor of gasoline and diesel to more than 2,300 branded outlets as well as 1,000 private-label outlets operated by major chain retailers. He was previously CEO of Cumberland Farms Gulf Oil Group, president of Consolidated Natural Gas and president of Louis Dreyfus Energy North America. 

He is also a board member of publicly traded natural gas utility South Jersey Industries and the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (SIGMA), a council member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Advisory Council and a trustee for Boston College High School and Trinity Catholic School.

By offering its fueling services within gas stations, Bala Cynwyd, Pa.-based VNG supports the widespread use of light-duty natural-gas vehicles (NGVs) by national and regional fleets, and eventually the mass-market consumer segment. VNG installs, maintains, monitors and operates its company-owned CNG fueling equipment, providing fleets with turnkey CNG fueling services.
