He quickly rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant, earning the Combat Action Badge, Iraqi Campaign Medal and 14 other awards and medals. During his tenure in the Army, he was selected as the Fort Stewart NCO of the Year and received the Major General Aubrey Newman Award for leadership excellence.
"Jeff's military background, commitment to excellence and attention to detail make him an excellent addition to the Parker's team," said Parker's president and CEO Greg Parker. "I met him when I spoke to students at Armstrong Atlantic State University last year and was immediately impressed by his enthusiasm."
Savannah, Ga.-based Parker's Corp. currently operates 30 convenience stores in six counties throughout southeast Georgia and South Carolina and sells Parker's proprietary brand gasoline.
