Maverik is now accepting Comdata fleet and fuel cards at its 86 locations with commercial fueling lanes.

This partnership allows Comdata’s commercial truck drivers to fuel up at all Maverik diesel locations. “Drivers with fleet and fuel cards will enjoy the c-store’s wide range of amenities and fuel solutions for commercial fleet across 12 western states,” Maverik said.

The number of drivers affected is in the tens of thousands, said Maverik.

Comdata is an Atlanta-based Fleetcor company offering commercial payment solutions.

“Comdata offers fleet cards and fleet fueling services to thousands and we’re excited to now be able to serve even more customers on the road with the great food, products, value, service and convenience that Maverik is known for,” said Kerby Cate, director of commercial fuels marketing at Salt Lake City-based Maverik.

Comdata fleet cards are designed for today’s trucking fleets, Maverik said. “Beyond its robust acceptance portfolio in the industry, Comdata provides fuel savings and consistent investment in new ways to improve customer experience,” the company said.

“At Comdata, we are extremely excited to partner with a historic brand like Maverik,” said Matthew Miller, vice president of merchant services at Fleetcor. “Our fleet clients will have the benefit of Comdata acceptance at premier locations while continuing to receive the service excellence they have come to expect.”

Salt Lake City-based Maverik operates in 12 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. With its acquisition of Kum & Go, based in Des Moines, Iowa, the combined company will operate more than 800 c-stores.

Commercial payment solutions company Comdata was founded in 1969 in Brentwood, Tennessee.
