Manchester Joins Mutual Oil's Sales Team

Comes to independent fuel distributor from Wildco, Ten Houve, Cumberland Farms
BROCKTON, Mass. -- Norman Manchester has joined the sales team of Brockton, Mass.-based Mutual Oil Co. Inc. as a marketing representative.

"With more than 17 years in the petroleum business, Norman Manchester has an in depth understanding of the industry," said Jonathan Shaer, Mutual Oil's vice president of sales. "I have had the opportunity to work closely with him as a vendor for our company. He has a strong customer service orientation and the skill sets that are an excellent match for us."

Before coming to Mutual Oil, Manchester was the southeastern Massachusetts [image-nocss] and Rhode Island salesperson for Wildco, the New England regional petroleum equipment company, where he was responsible for working with gas station owners, fuel suppliers and contractors as he managed installations and upgrade projects.

Prior to Wildco, Manchester was with Ten Hoeve Bros., where he sold managed maintenance services and field supervision of all corporate Exxon stations in the New England market. He began his career with the Cumberland Farms retail gasoline operation, where his performance earned him rapid promotions.

Family-owned Mutual Oil is one of the largest independent gasoline distributors in New England. Since its founding in 1942, the company has grown to become a major distributor of CITGO, Valero, BP, Gulf, Shell, Sunoco and Mobil brands, as well as unbranded fuel, to independent dealers throughout New England.
