Energy North Group Names Vice President of Wholesale

Industry veteran will oversee, expand customer network

LAWRENCE, Mass. — Convenience-store retailer and wholesale fuel distributor Energy North Group has named Kevin Jackson as its vice president of wholesale.

With more than three decades of experience in the fuel industry, Jackson brings a wealth of knowledge and skill that enables him to oversee the existing wholesale customer network and foster future growth opportunities, the company said. Previously, from 1996 to 2022, he was a vice president with Global Partners LP, Waltham, Mass. Before that, he was with Mutual Oil Co. Inc., Brockton, Mass., and Global Petroleum Inc., Waltham.

Jackson is affiliated with the New York Association of Convenience Stores (NYACS) and New England Convenience Store and Energy Marketers Association (NECSEMA).

Lawrence, Mass.-based Energy North Group is one of the largest wholesale distributors of fuel in New England and upstate New York. It offers major brands including Mobil, Exxon, CITGO, Gulf and Sunoco while continuing to grow its Haffner’s proprietary c-store brand. Energy North Retail operates 70 gas stations, convenience stores, car washes and foodservice locations. The Haffner’s brand operates gas stations and car washes in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine and distributes heating oil and propane while providing HVAC to 45,000 customers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Southern Maine.
