Dresser Wayne Adds to Team

Names Gleeson as director of distributor sales

AUSTIN, Texas -- Dresser Wayne, a global marketer of retail fuel dispensers and technologies, has named Dan Gleeson director of distributor sales for U.S. operations. Gleeson 's core responsibilities will include the continued development of existing and new sales opportunities in the retail petroleum equipment distribution channel

“Dan brings many strong assets to this position including his leadership abilities and his proven track record in growing revenue,” Bill Reichhold, vice president of U.S. sales said. “His experience spans strategic market planning and cultivating [image-nocss] solid relationships. These skills will play an important role as Dresser Wayne continues to strengthen our presence in this important sales channel.”

Gleeson comes to Dresser Wayne with years of sales and sales management experience, particularly in channel distribution. He was previously employed by Shinco, a manufacturer of LCD-based consumer electronics. During his six-year tenure as director of sales, he was responsible for managing distribution strategies and creating partnerships with key national retail accounts and military distribution channels. Prior to Shinco, Gleeson held sales management positions for companies such as Griffin International and Whatman PLC.

On May 5, Gleeson began to transition into the responsibilities held by Ron Ragsdale in preparation for Ragsdale retirement effective July 11.

Dresser Wayne, headquartered in Austin, Texas, is one of the largest business units of Dresser Inc., and is an industry pioneer for the retail fueling industry. It introduced self-service consoles and fuel blending dispensers to gas stations, in-pump card readers and cash acceptors, in-pump radio frequency identification payment systems and dispenser-mounted touchscreen payment/communication systems. In addition, Dresser Wayne designs and markets software systems that enable its retail fueling customers to manage the convenience store aspects of their businesses more efficiently, including inventory control, price book management, labor management and site administration.
