NEW LISBON, Wis. -- Leer Inc. has rolled out a space-saving solution for the convenience-store and grocery industries. With its Reach-In Storage Freezers, the manufacturer has merged the technology of its outdoor ice merchandisers with the storage space of its walk-in freezers.

The product aims to free up valuable in-store real estate and allow retailers to relocate excess items outside, the company said. “The Reach-In Storage Freezers are a perfect solution for stores struggling to find enough room to store their frozen goods,” said Ben Albregts, director of sales for Leer. “Why take up more space inside, when the merchandise can stay fresh and out of the customers’ way in an outdoor Reach-In Storage Freezer?”

As retailers continue to offer more frictionless services, the freezer is an excellent solution for after hour deliveries or curbside pickup, Albregts said.

The equipment has 100 cubic feet of internal freezer storage, and adjustable shelving units that can each hold 100 pounds.

Leer plans to continue to build out the line with Reach-In Storage Coolers, as well as multiple sizes for both products.

The New Lisbon, Wis.-based company has been manufacturing retail ice merchandising equipment and other products for more than 65 years.
