Hunt Brothers Pizza is rolling into Montana.

Starting the week of Jan. 30, the pizza is being sold in Cenex Zip Trip convenience stores in Park City and Miles City, Montana, said the company, which is owned by Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota-based CHS Inc.

Cenex Zip Trip first partnered with Nashville, Tennessee-based Hunt Brothers Pizza in 2019, offering the program in its Grafton, North Dakota, store, and within two years expanded into three more markets.

“We’ve had great success with the Hunt Brothers Pizza program in other markets and we’re thrilled to be able to introduce it to Montana,” said Jon Fleck, merchandise manager for Cenex Zip Trip. “Our customers love the taste and quality, and our staff loves how easy it is to prepare.”

With the addition of the Park City and Miles City stores, Cenex Zip Trip will offer Hunt Brothers Pizza in six of its stores. “We expect to continue adding Hunt Brothers Pizza to additional stores in the near future, especially now that it is available in Montana, where 28 of our 39 stores are located,” Fleck said.

Owned by CHS Inc., a global agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives across the United States, Cenex Zip Trip is a chain of 39 c-stores located throughout Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska and Colorado.

Hunt Brothers has just brought back Buffalo Chicken Pizza, its most popular limited- time offer. The LTO program “consistently supports an increase in foot traffic and profits for thousands of c-store partners through made-to-order and grab-and-go sales,” the company said.

“We’re so grateful to all of our store partners and their customers who express their excitement about the return of the fan-favorite Buffalo Chicken Pizza," Dee Cleveland, Hunt Brothers Pizza director of marketing, said. "We hear from pizza lovers year-round about how much they enjoy this combination of flavors, and we’re excited to bring it back for its 15th offering.”

The pizza’s combination of buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing and chicken has garnered a large following since 2009, the company said. It features Hunt Brothers Pizza’s original crust topped with a combination of ranch dressing and buffalo wing sauce, a blend of 100% natural part-skim mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses, and diced chicken. The final touch is a sprinkling of Hunt Brothers Pizza’s Just Rite Spice.

The Buffalo Chicken Pizza LTO is available as a whole 12-inch pizza or Hunk A Pizza (one-fourth of a 12-inch pizza) while supplies last.

Hunt Brothers Pizza, with more than 9,000 locations nationwide, is the country’s largest brand of made-to-order pizza in the convenience-store industry.
