MOORESTOWN, N.J. Harris Tea, the largest blender and packer of private-label teas in North America, has launched a new website: TeaMarketPlace.com.

The site offers restaurant-quality tea direct, fast and fresh to foodservice operators, retailers and consumers. TeaMarketPlace.com gives the company’s three main customer segments access to an array of teas, tea products and tea knowledge. They can buy products, view instructional videos and explore articles on merchandising and tea trends.

Harris said the website, which it calls an alternative to the conventional foodservice distribution model, offers hot and iced teas for bulk foodservice brewing, ready-to-drink kombucha and iced tea, and an array of tea products under the Tea India line.

Wholesale buyers get access to multicase pricing and direct-to-door shipping, and no membership or minimum case purchase is required. Blog content, which changes weekly, covers topics such as tea and dessert pairing, iced tea clouding fixes and more.

Harris Tea Co., which acquired Tetley Harris Food Group earlier this year, has production facilities in Georgia and New Jersey; one in Newcastle, U.K.; and an affiliated factory in India. Harris Tea is a diversified vendor, packing tea in a wide variety of tea bags and offering ready-to-drink products.
