GSP to Produce, Manager Boyd's POP

Roaster seeks to minimize environmental impact of point-of-purchase elements
PORTLAND, Ore. -- GSP Marketing Technologies Inc. (GSP), a leader in strategic marketing at the point of purchase (POP), said that Boyd Coffee Co. has entered into an agreement with GSP to provide POP for Boyd Coffee's signature coffee brands. The line delivers a variety of flavors and roasts to their clients. GSP will be providing a variety of solutions to Boyd Coffee: POP management, retail design and printing services and software solutions.

Katy Boyd Dutt, director of marketing for Boyd Coffee, said, "Technology solutions like [GSP's] POPAssetManager....will enhance [image-nocss] the level of service we deliver to our retail customers."

Both Boyd Coffee and GSP are focused on minimizing the overall environmental impact of the various POP elements, while continuing to improve the level of service to Boyd Coffee's customers.

Boyd Coffee operates a direct-store distribution system covering 22 states and offers equipment innovations, specialty and rare estate coffees, teas and an extensive line of food products. It was one of the first certified organic roaster in North America, it said. The company sources much of its coffee from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms to ensure that the coffee is grown to sustainable standards that protect the environment and the rights and welfare of workers, their families and communities.

Boyd Coffee is headquartered east of Portland, Ore. It also operates three retail stores in Portland.

GSP offers customers a vertically integrated marketing solution that includes marketing database management, site data management tools, POP engineering services, creative design, print production, logistics management, retail branding, compliance management and campaign and category effectiveness management.
