C-Store Foodservice Power Rankings: Q2 2020
By Brett Dworski on Jul. 29, 2020CHICAGO — Two chains sat atop the rankings for best convenience-store foodservice during the second-quarter 2020, marking the first tie since CSP began its quarterly rankings last year.
Fifty-five percent of consumers said they were extremely satisfied with the overall food quality at both Wawa and Family Express during the period—the highest of any chain, according to CSP sister research firm Technomic. Wawa and Family Express have consistently ranked at the top of this category during the past few quarterly rankings.

CSP compiles its c-store foodservice power rankings using information from Consumer Brand Metrics (CBM), a brand tracking program from Chicago-based Technomic that updates every quarter. CBM analyzes 140,000 consumer foodservice visits each year for restaurant, convenience-store and grocery brands and answers questions such as who visits top chains, why these consumers are visiting and what they think of the various brands.
