The deal it’s the fast feeder’s answer to the recently launched McDonald's McPick 2 (2 for $2) and Wendy's 4 for $4 deals, according to a USA Today report.

And Pizza Hut yesterday rolled out a $5 Flavor Menu.

“When we continually deliver upon our business strategy of bringing people into our restaurants with great tasting food at an accessible price point, we win with our guests and our franchisee partners,” said Alex Macedo, president for North America for the Burger King brand. “Our new 5 for $4 deal continues to build upon that winning strategy.”

Founded in 1954, the Burger King brand is the second largest fast-food hamburger chain in the world. The Burger King system operates more than 14,000 locations in approximately 100 countries and U.S. territories. Almost all Burger King restaurants are owned and operated by independent franchisees. The Burger King brand is owned by Restaurant Brands International Inc., one of the world's largest quick-service restaurant (QSR) companies with more than $23 billion in system sales and more than 19,000 restaurants.
