Antunes Rolls Out Rapid Steamer

Foodservice-equipment manufacturer now has 7 steaming devices

CAROL STREAM, Ill. --Antunes has added a new quick-cooking steamer to its portfolio of foodservice equipment. The RS-1000 Rapid Steamer uses a flash steaming process to retain the color, texture and flavors of foods.

To save time, operators can simultaneously prepare multiple different orders at once with the device’s two 20-ounce compartments. The steamer can cook a range of dishes, including vegetables, seafood, pasta and proteins.

Users can program and update recipes into the unit and select programmed recipes with a single button on the touchscreen interface.

“The Rapid Steamer is our latest innovation in versatile, high-performance steaming technology,” said Steve Pytlak, product manager for Antunes. “Designed for operators looking to expand and enhance their menus, the RS-1000 provides a reliable steaming solution for consistent, great-tasting cuisine.”

The company has been growing its culinary vision, adding its first corporate chef, Joe Arvin, in March.

Antunes specializes in countertop cooking and water filtration solutions and is based in Carol Stream, Ill.
