Antunes Adds National Account Manager

Zuehlsdorf is second hire to help develop the company’s culinary vision

CAROL STREAM, Ill. -- Ron Zuehlsdorf has joined foodservice manufacturer Antunes as a national account manager who will interface with chain restaurants and other key foodservice accounts.

With more than 25 years in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry, Zuehlsdorf has worked with foodservice distributors, menu board and signage companies, and dispensing and point-of-sale manufacturers. He has also worked as a regional sales manager, helping operators create efficiencies, maintain or improve food quality, and control costs.

This move follows the hiring of Antunes’ first corporate chef to help develop the company’s culinary vision. Both Zuehlsdorf and the chef will attend the 2018 National Restaurant Association Show, the company said.

“Ron understands the challenges of the foodservice industry and takes a unique consultative selling approach to his role,” said Tom Krisch, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Antunes. “He brings an outstanding ability to identify and address operational pain points and will utilize his expertise to drive long-term success for our customers.”

Antunes is a custom foodservice manufacturer based in Carol Stream, Ill. The company specializes in countertop cooking and water filtration solutions.
