DALLAS -- 7-Eleven Inc. debuted the P'EatZZa Sandwich on an episode of NBC's The Apprentice on Monday. The reality show, created and hosted by Donald Trump, gave Americans a sneak preview of the new P'EatZZa Sandwich, available April 18 at participating 7-Eleven stores in the United States and Canada.
The wedge-shaped P'EatZZa Sandwich was the main course of the marketing task assigned to the show's two teams, Goldrush and Synergy. The two teams had access to two Manhattan 7-Eleven stores to complete their mission. Team 7-Eleven driver Tony Kanaan got [image-nocss] into the action, making a guest appearance between Indy Racing League races to assist each team.
In the P'EatZZa Sandwich, pizza slices substitute for sliced bread. Between the two slices of cheese and pepperoni pizza flatbread, the sandwiches are filled with deli meats, cheeses and spreads. Served cold, the triangular sandwiches will be available in two varietiesTurkey & Pepperoni or Ham & Salami.
