Makes Boston-area fastest growing list

DUXBURY, Mass. -- VERC Enterprises, an independent convenience store/gasoline stations, has been named to the 2006 Boston Business Journal's Book of Lists, ranking 21st in the Fastest Growing Private Companies category.

VERC Enterprises achieved the high ranking based on revenue growth for the years 2003 to 2004. According to released figures, the privately held company saw a 26% increase in growth from 2003 to 2004.

The Duxbury, Mass.-based company also placed 87th among the 100 area businesses in the Largest Private Companies [image-nocss] category of the Boston Business Journal's Book of Lists. That ranking was based on revenue figures of $63.65 million.
