AUSTIN, Texas -- Tanknology Inc. said Diamond Z Engineering Inc. (DZE), Cleveland, has purchased Tanknology's Construction Service Innovations (CSI) Division. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
CSI, a division of Tanknology, provides construction management services for the petroleum retail industry. DZE provides engineering, design, permitting and project management services to the same market.
According to Darrin Hagler, President of Diamond Z Engineering, the addition of CSI will add key complimentary services to [image-nocss] the company's current design and project management services. CSI's services are a perfect fit for us, Hagler said. CSI's critical path, third-party inspection and project management capabilities will be a natural extension of our engineering, design and existing project management services.
CSI and DZE have been in a strategic partner relationship servicing many of the two company's key clients. With CSI now a part of DZE, a single company will be able to provide those companies with turnkey construction and project management services.
Tanknology will continue to provide its compliance testing services, in concert with DZE, to the same customers and marketplace.

Nationwide customers of the combined DZE and CSI include a variety of major oil companies, big-box retailers, petroleum marketers, distributors, industrial users and government agencies. The company will offer a complete line of fuel system design, engineering, project permitting, construction management and third-party inspection services, either turnkey or standalone.
