QuickChek Transforms Headquarters Into Miniature Golf Course

Event raises money for company’s Family Fund, which supports staff who may suffer a hardship

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- QuickChek Corp. converted its headquarters support center into a miniature golf course Oct. 11 to raise money for the QuickChek Family Fund.

The QuickChek Family Fund—funded solely by employees and company vendors—supports QuickChek staff who may suffer a hardship during the year, as well as supplying toys and gift cards to families in need during the winter holidays.

For more than a decade, Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based QuickChek has held events throughout the year to support the Family Fund.

A highlight is the annual “golf” outing, and more than 150 executives, employee team members and vendors attend this year’s event. Each of the company’s internal departments created a U.S. city-themed miniature golf hole on the lawn of the QuickChek Support Center. Participants were then asked to dress up as representatives of their city-themed golf hole.

The privately held chain employs more than 3,700 people in 145 store locations in New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island.
