PCATS Nails Down 2006 Leadership

Oneslager replaces Hartman as chair

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) has announced the results of balloting for positions on its board and other changes to its leadership. Voting took place at the PCATS 2006 Winter Meetings in St. Petersburg, Fla., last week.

Richard Oneslager, Balmar Petroleum, who has been serving as vice-chair since the formation of the alliance in 2003, replaced Scott Hartman, CHR Corp., as chair. Hartman remains on the board as Immediate Past Chair. At a dinner, hosted by Coca-Cola Enterprises, the board presented [image-nocss] Hartman with a resolution and plaque honoring his faithful service to the alliance and for his vision in helping to establish the technology standards project at NACS and its successor, PCATS.


The following individuals were re-elected to the board:

Art Whetstone, Favorite Markets, Treasurer. Ann Dozier, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Secretary Shannon Ramsey, Valero Energy Corp., At-Large. Robert Johnson, The Pinnacle Corp., presently a board member, was elected to a new position as chairman of the Technical Advisory Committee. Devin Bates, Town & Country Stores, was elected vice-chair and will become chair of the alliance in 2007.

Committee chairs re-elected to the board included:

Jenny Bullard, Flash Foods. Scott Rockafellow, Anheuser-Busch. Jan Scott, Unitec Electronics. Brad McGuinness, VeriFone. Jim Wenner, Sheetz.

New elected board members representing standing committees were Gregg Peele, CMi Solutions, and Bill Wade, Professional DataSolutions.

PCATS is composed of more than 170 members representing major companies, both supplier and retailer, in the petroleum marketing and convenience industry. Its mission is to develop, maintain and help members implement a variety of technology standards.
