Parker’s Hires Director of Finance & Administration

Prevatt previously worked closely with chain as tax manager

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Convenience-store company Parker’s recently hired Brian Prevatt as director of finance and administration. In his new position, Prevatt is responsible for overseeing financial strategy and fiscal operations at Parker’s.

An accomplished CPA, Prevatt excels at developing long-term strategic and financial plans, said the company. Before joining Parker's, he worked closely with the chain while employed as a tax manager with Hancock Askew & Co. LLP.

Savannah, Ga.-based Parker’s currently operates 43 convenience stores across the region and employs nearly 500 individuals throughout Georgia and South Carolina. The company, which completes more than 80,000 transactions daily, is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2016. The company gives back to every community where stores are located through the Fueling the Community Program, which donates a portion of the profit of every gallon of gas sold on the first Wednesday of the month to area schools. The company also endowed the Parker’s Emergency and Trauma Center at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, donates gas cards to benefit cancer patients, spearheads an Anti-Litter Campaign in Savannah and serves as the presenting sponsor for Picnic in the Park, a free outdoor concert held in Savannah every October.
