Miller Tapped as Kum & Go's New SVP of Marketing

Brings retail experience from Target, Maytag

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Citing the chain's growth,Kum & Go president and CEO Kyle J. Krause said late yesterday that David Miller has been tapped for his retail experience as the company's new senior vice president of marketing.

In this role, Miller will be responsible for providing executive leadership and management of Kum & Go's marketing organization, which includes category management, communications, foodservice and merchandising.

He also will be leveraging strategic relationships on behalf of the company.

As reported in a Raymond James/CSP Daily News Flash on Monday, Krause said it was Miller's extensive experience within the retail industry along with his deep understanding of consumer insights that made him the perfect fit for the marketing executive position.

He does not possess any direct convenience/gasoline retail experience, however.

Miller's marketing career spans major corporations such as Target and Maytag, among others. Most recently, he served as vice president of marketing and sales for Iron Horse Interactive.

"Kum & Go is experiencing tremendous growth across the 11 different states in which we do business. I am excited to have David join our marketing team. His experience and wealth of knowledge in the retail industry will allow him to make an immediate impact at Kum & Go," Krause said.
