Love's Feels at Home in Comfort

Travel stop chain opens new location in Texas

COMFORT, Texas -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. has opened a new travel stop in Comfort, Texas, at Interstate 10, Exit 523. The Comfort location is the second Love's Travel Stop to open in the south Texas area this year.

The new travel stop includes Subway and McDonald's restaurants. It also features 70 truck spaces, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) dispensers at the diesel islands, CAT scales, five showers, a game room and other amenities.

A Love's Truck Tire Care center is located on site at the travel stop. Love's Truck Tire Care centers carry an extensive selection of tires and offer a variety of services including installation and replacement from antennas to batteries and more.

Professional truck drivers will receive double "I Love Rewards" loyalty points on purchases at the new location through April 29, said the company.

"Love's has expanded our presence in the south Texas area to offer our existing customers more locations across the country and deliver the clean places and friendly faces Love's is known for," said Greg Love, president of Love's Development Cos.

Founded in 1964 by Tom Love, Love's Travel Stops is based in Oklahoma City and remains entirely family-owned and operated. With more than 280 locations and 130 Love's Truck Tire Care centers in 39 states, Love's approximate growth rate is 20 stores per year, it said.
