Inside the New Kim's Convenience Store
By Mitch Morrison on Jan. 05, 2017FRANKSTON, Texas -- This 10,000-square-foot Kim's convenience store in Frankston, Texas, was designed with help from Paragon Solutions, Fort Worth, Texas.
The store has two entrances: one taking customers to the grocery area, and the other to the c-store section with food offerings.
The grocery area of the store offers foods such as cereal and chips and dips, and other items such as toilet paper and paper towels.
A full-service meat market, as well as produce and groceries, sets this location apart from other Kim’s c-stores. The Butcher Shop sells pork chops, T-bone steaks and more.
The produce department features fresh cucumbers, lettuce, carrots and more.
When a small-size package won’t do, Kim’s also offers peanuts by the pound.
Farm-fresh dairy offerings—from milk to cheese—line the store’s back wall.
Kim’s worked with Paragon Solutions to create a fountain area that stands out.
For on-the-go coffee needs, Kim’s offers Java Junction brews.
The store’s foodservice area is complete with ample seating.
