CHICAGO -- Beer importer Constellation Brands on March 9 will begin rolling out its redesigned 12-ounce bottles and cans of Corona Light.
The updated design features a new logo with a larger, more prominent crown, as well as the tagline "The Light Cerveza" included on all panel sides.
Since a similar relaunch of Corona Extra cans in 2015, the offering has more than doubled in sales volume and now accounts for 6% of the total Corona Extra brand, according to the company. On the heels of Corona Extra's success, the brand will continue to emphasize the can format and expects increased sales momentum for Corona Light.
Chicago-based Constellation also is the U.S. importer of Mexico's Corona Extra, Modelo and Pacifico beers.
