New Mtn Dew Flavor Available Only at Circle K

LAVAL, Quebec — Circle K is the exclusive seller of Mtn Dew Purple Thunder, a new flavor that combines blackberry and plum.

“Everything from the berry flavor to the design was specially created by Mtn Dew and Circle K to provide a unique beverage that is sure to bring a new level of fun and flavor to our customers,” said Kevin Lewis, chief marketing officer for Circle K parent company Alimentation Couche-Tard, Laval, Quebec.

Purple Thunder, which just debuted, is available in 20-ounce bottles and at the fountain.

The bottle design features its a biker gang of Dew characters, including a plum and blackberry enjoying the ride of their life, the company said.

Couche-Tard has a 26-country global network that includes about 9,300 c-stores in North America, with more than 7,100 in the United States under the Circle K and Holiday Stationstores banners in 48 states, and about 2,100 in Canada under the Circle K, Mac’s and Couche-Tard banners. In Europe, under the Circle K and other banners, Couche-Tard operates a retail network in Scandinavia, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics and Russia including more than 2,700 stores and unmanned automated fuel stations. And under licensing agreements, more than 14,200 stores operate under the Circle K banner in 15 other countries and territories.
