Through these distributors, New Leaf can be purchased in more than 700 additional independent stores and other outlets, including 230 in Columbus, 200 in Dayton, 120 in Lexington and 150 in Indianapolis.
"We are [image-nocss] very pleased to add these four distributors to our family," said Tim Brown, vice president of sales Midwest for New Leaf. "They are all very strong in the non-alcoholic segment in their respective cities and are currently opening independent stores with chain activity to follow shortly."
David Dyson, general manager at Columbus Distributing Beverages, stated, "New Leaf's bright, contemporary packaging really makes a great shelf presentation and makes it easier to gain full shelf distribution, but the true power of the brand is in the liquid. When we first approached our retailers, we heard the same old 'no space ... too many new products ... I already have too many teas' until we opened a cold bottle and had them taste New Leaf. More often than not, their next words were, 'Bring in 10 cases.' "
