OKLAHOMA CITY —Love’s Travel Centers has added single-serve Copa di Vino wines into 70 stores in Texas.

Copa Di Vino, owned by Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Splash Beverage Group Inc., produces wine by the glass. It launched with multiple appearances on the television series “Shark Tank” and is known for wine without the need for bottles, corkscrews or a glass, the company said.

  • Oklahoma City-based Love’s is No. 14 on CSP’s 2022 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by company-owned store count.

“Travel centers like Love’s Travel Centers have become a significant draw for convenience shoppers across the U. S.,” said Robert Nistico, Splash Beverage Group’s chairman and CEO. “They tend to be located on major highways and close to population centers from where residents can do quick shopping or purchase products on their way to recreational events.”

Single-serve wine is proving to be one of the major breakout products with consumers, he added, and Love’s will be carrying all Copa SKUs.

“The convenience of wine by the glass sold by high-traffic convenience stores we believe will be a dynamic combination,” Nistico said.

Splash Beverage Group owns a growing portfolio of alcohol and non-alcohol beverage brands, including Copa di Vino wine by the glass, salt-flavored tequilas, Pulpoloco Sangria and Tapout performance hydration and recovery drink.

Circle K convenience stores in September started carrying Copa di Vino in the company’s western division.
