Forto to Launch Ready-to-Drink Energy Cold Brew

Known for its coffee shot, drink maker acknowledges 'for many consumers, bigger is better'

NEW YORK -- The maker of the popular Forto Coffee energy shot will try its hand at a larger, single-serve beverage to debut at the NACS Show in Las Vegas next week.

New York-based Dyla LLC, parent company of Forto Coffee, which is known for its 2-ounce Coffee Shot, will launch the new 11-ounce energy cold brew called Forto Energy Coffee at the trade show, with plans for a rollout in the first quarter of 2019.

Forto Energy Coffee is certified organic, has a suggested retail price of $2.99 and will come in three flavors, all with 200 milligrams of caffeine:

  • Coffee Latte
  • Chocolate Latte
  • Vanilla Latte

“Coffee lovers come to Forto for our drinks’ functionality and convenience; we’re a mighty burst of delicious coffee and energy in a small package,” said Forto founder and CEO Neel Premkumar. “But for many consumers, bigger is better, and we created Forto Energy Coffee to satisfy those consumers looking to sip and savor their coffee.”

Forto Energy Coffee is shelf-stable and made with whole milk. It comes in a unique, sippable to-go bottle, with more caffeine and less sugar and calories than other ready-to-drink coffee beverages.

This launch coincides with the distribution agreement that Forto has in place with Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), and new Forto Coffee Energy drinks will be sold nationwide across KDP’s distribution network.

The NACS Show will be held Oct. 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
