Coffee Relaxation?

BeBevCo extends Koma Unwind brand, announces new distributor program
MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Bebida Beverage Co. (BeBevCo) said that it has expanded it Koma Unwind coffee drink product line to include a relaxation beverage. Koma Unwind Coffee is the first coffee formulated to help consumers relax rather than pump them up, the company said. Koma Coffee Unwind is gearing up to hit store shelves on Feb. 1, 2010.

Koma Unwind Coffee comes in three flavors: Creamy Classic, Java Black and Moca Tonight. It is formulated with its special blend of supplements to calm mind, body and soul, it said.

"With the relaxation beverage category expanding [image-nocss] rapidly BeBevCo is taking this opportunity to stay ahead of the trend, and keep the Koma Unwind brand at the forefront of competition," said CEO Brian Weber. "Our new coffee line will secure a market share that has yet to be tapped by any competitors and is a huge step in the growth of our company and the increase of our shareholder value."

This week, the company announced a new program for current and potential distributers who order the Koma Unwind "Chillaxation Drink." BeBevCo and its "Cases for Coolers" program will be giving away countertop thermal coolers to distributors with minimum orders. The coolers are wrapped with a Koma Unwind decal, which makes them look like the can itself, and are designed for display on checkout countertops.

This promotional program was designed to entice new distributors, to retain current distributors and to continue increasing brand awareness by having a 3-foot-tall Koma Unwind can on countertops in various convenience stores.

Mooresville, N.C.-based BeBevCo is the maker and developer of several beverages, including Piranha Water, Guppy Water, Koma Unwind and Koma Shot.
