On the Run to offer Free Coffee Mondays tied to teams

FAIRFAX, Va. -- On the Run convenience stores across the country will kick off a new fall coffee promotion this month that will reward customers with either free or half-priced Bengal Traders gourmet coffee.

Free Coffee Mondays will be offered in selected cities with local or nearby National Football League teams. When a local football team in a designated city wins, on the following Mondays, fans can receive a free Bengal Traders gourmet coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, Steamer, Chai Latte or Bengal Traders Tea.

The initial [image-nocss] roster of cities includes Baton Rouge, La.; Dallas; Charlotte, N.C.; Houston; Knoxville, Tenn.; and Miami, Orlando, Fort Myers and Naples, Fla. The same offer is also valid at Tigermarket c-stores in San Antonio and Austin, Texas, and Memphis and Nashville, Tenn. If a team in one of the named cities wins a Monday Night Football game, the offer will be extended to Free Coffee Tuesday for that week.

In markets that do not have professional football teams, On the Run stores will offer Halfback Mondays. In these markets on Mondays, customers will be able to purchase any cup of Bengal Traders gourmet coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, Steamer, Chai Latte or Bengal Traders Tea at half of the regular price.

But even in cities where Free Coffee Mondays is offered and their team does not win on a given Sunday, fans will still be offered Halfback Mondays.

During Free Coffee Mondays and Halfback Mondays, which will run September 1 through December 26, On the Run stores will feature Pumpkin Spice flavored Bengal Traders coffee and cappuccino as its featured seasonal blends.

The Free Coffee Mondays and Halfback Mondays programs will be supported with local radio advertising and onsite signage.

In addition to the new coffee promotion, On the Run stores recently began offering a new line of On the Run Cafe-branded breakfast sandwiches in selected stores. The proprietary sandwich line will include Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuits, Bacon, Ham, Egg & Cheese Croissants, and Bacon, Egg & Cheese English Muffins. Through October 31, the sandwiches will be sold at an introductory price of $1.29.
